RBI – Hermeneutics
The goal in E-Groups is to grow in the knowledge of God and His Word. While community certainly happens in these groups, growth in knowledge and study is the emphasis here. RBI = ReCAST Bible Institute. RBI classes are more rigorous than a regular E-Group. This class is led by one of our church Elders, Mike Biancalana. and will begin on Thursday, August 27th and end on November 19th.
What will be studied in this class?
Hermeneutics is the study of how to interpret scripture. The textbook for this class is “Grasping God’s Word” 4th edition by Duvall and Hays. This class will cover how to read scripture in its historical context and aid you in knowing how to bridge the gap between the cultures of the Old and New Testament and our culture today.
