RBI – Hermeneutics
The goal in E-Groups is to grow in the knowledge of God and His Word. While community certainly happens in these groups, growth in knowledge and study is the emphasis here. RBI = ReCAST Bible Institute. RBI classes are a little bit more rigorous. This class is led by James Chapman. More information on this class to come. This class will begin Wednesday, September 24th.
This class will walk through the process of how to faithfully read, interpret, and apply the Bible using the book Grasping God’s Word as our guide. Together we’ll learn how to bridge the gap between the ancient world of Scripture and our lives today, moving from careful observation to sound interpretation and meaningful application. Along the way, we’ll practice the “Interpretive Journey,” develop skills for reading different genres of the Bible, and learn tools to avoid common mistakes. The goal is not just to understand the text better, but to be shaped by God’s Word in how we live and follow Christ.
